If you read my previous post, you will know that my family was here during Chinese New Year (Thanks for following up! teehee) I can't tell how much my dad loves food, he can plan the next meal while he's having a meal. Yes, I did put some weights on while my family was around. awww...
Anyways, it was the day when my sister went to high school and five of us were all starving at the hotel. We wanna find somewhere near so I suggested New ShangHai since I spotted it at Queens Plaza on a random day: the queue was LONG.
The menu.
I really love their design.
Shredded kelp mixed with spice & vinegar dressing
this is nice!
Fried rice, both my dad and brother like it. but i'm not a fan of rice, so yeah, for me it's just a normal fried rice that we all can cook at home.
(or some people can even cook a better one)
Hot and Spicy sour soup with shredded tofu and pork
Nahh, it was out of expectation. Tasteless, not enough vinegar i reckon.
Sald and pepper tofu. Nah this is real nice. the tofu is so silky and soft!
The best dishes overall. ShanDong chicken.
It's basically deep fried chicken and what makes this special is the sauce, a hint of sweet, spicy & sour.
I call these 'the juicy pau'.
It was okay; not the best in Brisbane anyways.
A nice restaurant for eating out, for people who like dimsum and main meals as well. They provide a small variety of dimsums, mostly main meals. The waiters are friendly and feel free to ask for suggestions. Last but not least, it's really crowded during lunch time!
