Harbour Town, Gold Coast

It was the day after our Semester One Exams, as well as the first day of holidays!  It was a bit hectic in the morning because I needed to move all my things out from homestay.  Around 12pm, we headed to Harbour Town!

The outfit in the morning because it was freaking cold.
That's my new room!  It's still messy now. LOL

Before going to Altandi Station, we had our simple lunch at SunnyPark.  The roasted chicken from Wollies.

After one and a half hour we arrived safely at Harbour Town.

SCARVES!

Boost MINNIE MELON JUICE as lunch.  As usual, we shared one original size juice.

SHOPPING TIME!

Trying on the belt.  Didn't buy it since Jacqueline bought it.  One for $3.

Big sales at FOREVER NEW.

A must if you want to shop comfortably:  Wear slippers. :P

Both of us were so excited when we saw ANZ ATM because we had no cash with us that day.
AH Santa Claus Christmas coming in 5 months time.
Merrily happy Santa.

Everything FREEEEEEE!  LOL jokes.
@Espirit

Kids nowadays are way too brave.  They don't play swing, they prefer this.  LOL

It was around 5pm.

It was an eventful day dealing with train stations and bus stops.  Way too "BEK CHEK".
We missed the Altandi Station which is the station where we supposed to get off the train, we got off the train somewhere at the place we have never been before.  Then, on our way back from Sunnybank to Garden City, we needed to change buses, we ended up going to the city instead of Garden City.  Fyi, they are of the opposite direction.

Thank God we were home around 10pm.

We didn't do a big shopping that day, bought one dress and one jeans.
Going to Gold Coast next week, YES, again!!! Who wanna join?!

Birthday Celebration with IES Friends

Thank God.  I'm blessed.  My 18th birthday is awesome!  Birthday text messages, overseas calls and special facebook inbox messages.  I smurf you all! :)

My first birthday celebration was with some youth fellowship friends.  Haven't get those photos yet so I will update the second one first.  It was with my IES friends.  I had my behavioural Science exams at 1.30pm.  The first surprise of the day was from Angie and Leelian.  I had no exams in the morning, so I went to the city around 12.40pm.  While I was studying at Starbucks, Leelian called and told me that exams time was changed to 12.50pm.  and i was like WHAT THE HACK?!  I was yelling and immediately grabbed my book.  Everyone was staring at me.  Then I heard someone's giggling over there.

WELL.  This is 'FUN'.

Everything happened just in a second.  I was chatting on the phone with my friend then they asked me to hurry up cos they wanted to go home.  By the time I was about to exit the school building, I saw Madeline holding a red card with my face on it, then Angie with a birthday cake.

It was awkward.  But anyhow it's a surprise for me.

Leelian! <3 :DD

Love this photo to the max.  I was like hugging a koala. <3

Jacqueline. :D <3

Thanks guys!  Anthony, Kelvin, Angie, Leelian, Madeline, Ivan, Samuel and the photographer of this photo Jacqueline! :)

Samuel was lying to me since Monday.  It's quite complicated nahh but his white lies made this all happened.

Buddies! :)

With the guys.

After that we went to Kelvin's house for Hotpot!  Before that we shopped at Indooroopily Shopping Centre to buy aerosol gas.
Let's party. With music ON.
They bought my favourite mutton!  Cuttlefish balls were nice.
The girls.  Angie is totally out of focus in this picture.

LeeLian Wong.  We knew each other since Primary 5 but didn't keep in contact after we went to secondary school. After seven years, there came the reunion at University of Queensland Foundation Year!  That's all God's grace.  Thanks Lord!

Leelian and Jacqueline's hardwork on my face.  Inspiration from "Running Man"

P/S All photos are taken using Ivan's camera, Angie, Ivan, Jacqueline and I as the photographer.

Felt really different being 18.  You are always eager to get something, but when the thing comes to you, you somehow do not want to accept it.  That's the reality, just gonna bear with it.
The first day being 18, there were so many things to worry about, Thank God they were all settled.

Stay tuned to my second and third post about my birthday.  I'm now at Solomon Island here with family!  Gonna join the Solomon Art Festival tomorrow.

Take care guys!  Appreciate the cold weather in Brisbane, It is darn hot here.  Eventually I am sicked now because of the distinct difference in temperature, from 10+ to 30+ degree Celsius.  See ya Brisbane on Friday! <3
