Happy Holiday

Hey guys, life after Easter holidays is pretty good so far, still busy with the foundation course which I'm doing.  There are so many works pending to do:  Physics Problem Solving questions, English research essay , maths homework and Behavioural Science report.  Chemistry as well, lots of homework, our chem teacher Peter is sicked. D: hope he gets well soon and comes back asap!

I'm having so much fun at school with them since school reopened last Monday.  I know there is something that I can't escape.  I've grown up and have been 'upgraded', like joining a bigger society with different people around.  They are no longer the friends that I met since high school.  Different people, different language, different characteristics and the way they act are so different.  I just gotta deal with it.  Attitude is just a little thing which makes big difference.

I don't wish that i can read people mind, but I do hope myself can understand my friends well enough so that I can be with them no matter they are happy or sad.  However, sometimes that turns everything off.  Lesson learnt is that you can't expect everyone to be those people who you are always with when you are still a kid.  gosh this is a known fact I should have realized it earlier so that I will not miss happiness when it knocks. D:

Anyway, I answered when it knocked again.  It knocks! like everyday every hour every minute.  Not gonna mention every second cos I don't want to cheat myself, I'm not always happy in every second in my life.

#Random happiness:  When laptop isn't on the desk but on your bed, when you are not sitting in front of a desk but lying on your bed typing this!

I think I'm really a pig. Why?  My alarm rang from 4am to 6am, and I kept on snoozing it , ended up waking up at 6.20am with the alarm rang in every 15 minutes for two hours.

I miss childhood.  When your only decision is to choose what colour of crayon to use.  Not about your future, your friends, your work or whatever.

Anyway, Happy Holiday! It's Anzac's Day tomorrow.

Ciao~

Korean BBQ Restaurant-Red n Grill

It was the dinner after school!  Angie and I walked to the city after school and met Ivan, Gerald and Ai.  Then we went dinner with them at Red n Grill.  It's Korean BBQ Restaurant!  Believe it or not, it was my first Korean BBQ meal.  :S

The side dishes.  Potatoes, Kimchi, and the another one, taste like egg but i don't think it was.

Spot Angie and I were BBQ-ing!!

We were so lucky to have Minsik with us.  The Korean guy who taught us how to 'EAT' LOL HOW TO EAT?! hahaha. well, he cooked for us. THANKS!

 Love this soup!

Some photos were taken by Yumiko. Thanks! :D
We went home around 7.30pm and I took the same bus with Angie. There was a few minute I was alone at Griffth Uni Bus stop and it was super damn scary.

God Bless. Ciao~

Happy birthday to Samuel & Yong Ting!

Mid Semester break was over, Term two has just started and I can't wait for holidays to come again. I can feel the stress now, seriously, STRESS. D:

Anyway, we had two birthday celebrations during the mid-sem break!  One was my IES friend, as well as CH schoolmate, Samuel's birthday.  Another one is my church friend, Yong Ting's birthday!

Samuel's birthday is on the 12 April.  He shares the same birthday with my best friend Esther Su!
Esther, Vincent, Wei Yew and Dennis decided to give him a surprise so we cooperated with Anthony, who is my IES friend/Samuel's housemate.  The birthday surprise plan went well with Anthony's help!
We reached the foundation house(where he lives) and tiptoed into the kitchen and got the candles lighted.

Mocha Cake.  Not bad! From Breadtop.

A few photos before we went upstairs to knock on his door.

And yayy we succeeded.  He was still sleeping when we knocked on his door.  He came out with his sleepy eyes, he slept at 4am that morning and we woke him up by 10am!  WELL WELL SIX HOURS SLEEP IS ENOUGH for birthday boy! HAHA

Samuel's making his birthday wishes.

Then we went downstairs and we requested him to wear RED tops because it's his birthday.

 Bang!

After that we walked to the city to meet Madeline and SiChia, we went to Golden Chinese Restaurant for lunch!  DIM SUM yayy.  It was along Queen Street, beside CROCS.

My personal fav.  It's taken in front of Treasury Casino and Hotel.

In the afternoon, we went to Sunnybank Plaza.  Samuel treated us Chatime!  I had GrassJelly with fresh milk. Chatime will always be my second top of my favourite beverages, Starbucks is the top one.

 Thanks Samuel!

Anthony, Samuel and I had to leave earlier, so we went back to city around 3.30pm. It was so tiring but fun.  It's a friend's birthday ayee! :D

Then later on Saturday night, there was another birthday surprise going on.  It was after the youth fellowship, for Yong Ting.  Alice was the host for this birthday surprise party, I supposed.

I have no idea why my face was so red that night. *blush. So embarrassing!
Meet my new friend Jocelyn, we were talking like old friends although it was the first time we met each other.  We met at the central train station and took the train to Sherwood.  God brings her to me so that I wasn't alone for the journey and brings me lots of fun and blessings since the day! :D

Something funny happened.  She thought I am a little young teenager with 'cute voice' LOL.  When we were talking on the phone to search for each other in front of the central station tickets booth, apparently she was trying to search for a petite little girl.  She was shocked when she heard my mature voice and saw the real me. HAHAHHAA. I couldn't stop laughing.

Happy birthday Yong Ting.  His birthday was yesterday.

Yong Ting and Alice with the nice cheesecake! :)

Happy birthday once again to Samuel and Yong Ting.  God bless and take care!

What an eventful mid-sem break.  Whose birthday next! :D

Max Brenner / Jojo's Restaurant

I'm not a chocolate freak.  I just knew that there is Max Brenner in Brisbane(to be specific, South Bank).  I didn't even know what's Max Brenner last year.  I thought it is some kind of... high class Western Food Restaurant?  (SORRY!)
Last Saturday I went to Max Brenner with Esther, Elise and Jacqueline.  Elise who's from Perth visited Brisbane.  She wanted to go for Max Brenner so yeah, we went!  I was brave enough to step into the store apparently.  Consumed lots of calories in that morning.  #Guilt.

.MaxWich with strawberries.  Basically that's brownies with icecream.
Chocolate!  The chocolate balls are crunchy, not too bad cos it's not sweet!  It's dark chocolate I suppose.

Dark Italian.  This was so thick till we behtahan.  We didn't finish it all anyway, TOO THICK!
Just couldn't stand the thickness.

Tutti Frutti with Vanilla Ice Cream.  I love the strawberries.

This was our achievement.  CLAPSSS!

I think I will not visit it again unless there's special event.  Cos I'm not that in love with Chocolate and also, that's too expensive for dessert.

Another Restaurant heyy!  This is my dad's favourite restaurant in Brisbane city.  He simply loves the steak there.  Angie, Samuel, Jacqueline and I went there on the day before Easter break started.  We had our dinner there!
JOJO's Restaurant which is located along Queen Street Mall, between SUPRE and STRANDBAG.

Spaghetti Bolognaise.  Not too bad hey!

Green Curry.  We love the sauce.

Chicken Pad Thai.  Taste like char kuey tiaw!! AWWW miss it so much.

That was a great dinner with the super awesome environment.  For sure we will visit Jojo's Restaurant again in future!

Holiday's all about FOOD.  To be frank I didn't have enough sleep during this holidays and so I failed to achieve my goal:  Get enough sleep and get the battery fully-charged to complete sem one.  Anyway, FOOD FOOD FOOD!  I think I gain weight in these 10 days

God bless. :)

There you go. The story which goes with MUTTON.

MUTTON! YAYY. This is exactly our whatsapp conversation.

"Mutton has the nicest smell in the world."
'Gerald is typing'
"I wish we can have mutton perfume."
'Gerald is typing'
"I mean, perfume smells like mutton."
'Gerald is typing'
'....'
'U'
'Must be mad.'

High 5 people! Who loves mutton!

BBQ @Roma Street Parklands

I had a nice evening with IES and UQ friends.  We had BBQ at Roma Street Parklands!
Gerald, Ai, Aluna, Jac and I met up at the city and went to Coles to buy some food. They bought 3 kgs chicken wings at first but we thought it's not enough for 24 people so we went again to get another 1kgs. And yeah as well as marinated mutton! YAYY.
There's a story going with this mutton. Shall share it later.

Okay, continue.  We reached there by 5pm to meet Minsik who was there to book the spot!  We decided to cook first 'cos Malt needed to leave earlier.  However, we didn't get the Aluminium Foil!!! GOSH, so we ate chips first while waiting for the foil. HAHA. #Starving.

 Minsik!

Lynn!  (I wish this spelling is correct, please tell me if it's not!)

 Aluna! :)

 Minsik's foot. -.-
Apparently Gerald has lots of T-shirts with WEIRD quotes. HAHA

Say Hello to Shaun who has COOL hairstyle! :D

It's so hard to get the chicken wings cooked. I'm serious.

 Gerald and Mercury!

The Chef Shaun was cutting up potatoes. His special dishes was the stir-fry potato. LOL!

LOL I couldn't stop laughing at this photo. I was shivering.  It was damn cold last night. Winter is coming!

 I love her. :)

I left earlier because I needed to get home by 9.30pm so that I could take my shower. That's a long story. No shower after 10pm :O?!  HAHA. Anyway, Thanks God because I have them.  They made my Tuesday awesome. Like, i mean, seriously super super super awesome. :)  Which brought all my previous worries away. :)
