No use crying over spilt 'carrot juice'

It was a lazy Sunday for me, forget about studies (even though I have two upcoming exams), I woke up real late around 9.15am. I was watching the show 爸爸去哪儿 throughout the day, had a 2 hours afternoon nap, woke up for dinner and did some novel readings just now. What a lazy day! 

However, life isn't life if there isn't something unexpected. I had this yummy carrot juice this morning. I placed the glass beside my laptop and apparently I was laughing too vigorously together with some hand gestures, I accidentally spilt this glass of carrot juice on my laptop.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Well, there's no use crying over spilt 'carrot juice'.

Okay, I told myself don't panic, I must try my best to salvage my laptop.
I googled and these are the steps on how to apply an emergency rescue.

1. Remove the battery
Errrrrr. Does Macbook has a battery that I can remove? I might probably need to unscrew my laptop hey?

2. Shut it off!
ohhh, should I? But I need it to refer to the steps on how to rescue my laptop. -.- At last, I did turned it off.

After shutting it down, I did nothing on it. I quickly called my friend for a solution. The final resolution was to put it in the rice tank after wrapping it with a plastic bag.
And THANK GOD for my laptop's strong will to live for me. It is working now - else I can't stay alive without my laptop.

One more week till the Christmas break! Week 4, bring it on. I can't believe that I am half way through my summer courses for the 4 units that will be credited to my whole degree. 要不是为了that 4 units, 我现在已经在马来西亚了.

GRRRRRR. Yes,  还是耿耿于怀.

Reviews on 2013 New Year's Resolution & who's ready for 2013 SEM2 resolutions.

Hi, I'm doing this because I want to keep myself awake. I drank a cup of coffee but somehow caffeine doesn't work on me anymore, unfortunately. Nowadays I can even go to bed around 10.30pm! Okay I should be thankful, because this leads to a healthier life, as I wake up automatically around 6am. then I can eventually spend hours in bed texting, stalking ppl on instagram etc etc.. until my stomach tells me: it's time to feed me heyy.

Nah, just a random mumble. Actually I'm gonna write a review on myself, regarding my 2013 new year's resolution. (I found my 2013 diary on the shelves and apparently I didn't touch it for ages! I flipped it to the first page and laughed out loud at my 2013 new year's resolutions.)  Okay, I've actually failed most of them.

1. First year of civil engineering-no more slacking no more procrastination!
Sounds so enthusiastic, but there's no even a chance for me to slack. because I quit after 4 months! The funniest joke that ever happened in my life so far. So much struggles and finally came to that decision. Just gotta bear with all the circumstances. Still, thank God it's almost over, soon...
FYI, I'm doing Food Technology.

2. Sleep early & Wake up early-Live a healthy life
Okay, I should say that I did achieve this since last week, but not for the weeks/months before. 24 hours won't be enough for a student, bahaha.

3. EXERCISE
Yes I do, although I slack sometimes. Recently we've found that a midnight jog makes us feel better; jogging and enjoying the silence.

4. Get a part time job
Oh yea, I got one, but stopped working once the student visa was cancelled. And can only get back to work next semester. That's why I get bored always.

5. Sydney Trip - LEEHOM
HAHAHA, laughing at this, I don't know how can this be the new year's resolution. Crap lah. However, Leehom is handsome, there is no doubt!!!! and he is so talented heyyy.

I jotted down five new year's resolutions on the first day of 2013. Then I've actually found some others new year's resolutions in my previous post.

6. Spend as much time as I can with my family, love them and care them!

No matter what family is always the best. Feel it.

7. Work harder in university!

8. Keep friendship on sail always, especially those in Malaysia

uhhuh, still working hard on this, but everyone's real busy with studies! A meet-up in April really made me loving them more. Anyways, am too blessed cos I have awesome friends in brissie too! 

9. Stay happy no matter what happen, have faith in God

The maintenance fees for happiness are high beyond my ability. still trying hard to achieve the real 'happy-go-lucky' mode. So I guess this is the homework for everyone's life. and yes this should be in our new year's resolution EVERY YEAR!

And actually a few months ago, I added one to my new year's resolutions list: no more deep fried food! Apparently this has become the major failure and am actually gonna make it true for my 2013 SEM TWO resolutions. bahahaha. 

yes i can do it.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Hi there! It's the first day of uni, a wet rainy and windy day. Luckily my outfit of the day was like casual with shorts and thongs on. It's like washing my own feet while walking today. Not forget to mention that it's freezing cold today, hey it's summer oh Brisbane.

I bet everyone's exhausted today, nah, these lovely sweet hearts to cheer you up!

Anyways, I'm late for this, I'm always late urgh. Happy Belated Valentine's Day! We celebrated our valentine's day 'asian-ly'. Instead of western meals, we cooked our own Malaysian meal. Yes, it's super yummy.

 Will never forget heart-shape beef on Valentine's day.

Apparently this was a failure. It only looked like a heart at certain angle, as you can see, with a scar on it. (HAHA)

Happy belated Valentine's Day once again! It was Chinese's Valentine's Day yesterday (Chap Goh Mei), so it isn't too late to greet I reckon? :P I'm hereby wishing all the couples out there: stay sweet! (specially for my buddies in msia HAHAHHAHA!)

Well, it's quite awkward, speechless & funny when they asked me what to do on Valentine's for their partners. Nahh! like i'm an expert?!

Baking Cookies, Dark Chocolate Cookies

Cyclone hits Solomon Island, it's been raining since two days ago.  The real heavy rain which scares us.  It eventually woke me up a few times last night.

Because of the heavy rain we were so bored, so we all decided to bake some cookies! The recipe is from my sister's high school teacher as she took 'Food Study' as one of her subjects.  It doesn't require dark chocolate but we wanted to include it in the recipe so there we go!  Dark Chocolate Cookies

It somehow tastes like shortbread.  It's probably because we left the batter in the fridge for few hours.  We spent the few hours on repairing the oven which was sent all the way from Malaysia.  BAHAHAA, Thank God we succeeded and started baking our cookies!

 I was snacking on almonds when siblings were busy making cookies.  

 Say hello to duckieee!  We agreed that this the the most difficult shape to handle cos its beak or its leg broke easily when we wanna place them on the tray.

Starbucks Tumbler and Water Bottle

I admit that I am really a Starbucks freak.  I can save my money not to buy meals to get my tummy filled but I can't do the same thing for Starbucks.  If I reach city early in the morning and only have light breakfast or I'm sleepy I will definitely get myself a Grande Cappuccino from Starbucks! :D  

My first Starbucks coffee in 2012.  It was three months ago, can still remember that I walked uphill to school holding a cup of hot drink, under the scorching sun. :/

This was yesterday.  Having afternoon tea at Starbucks.  It was my first time to get Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee.  It contains concentrated caffeine I supposed, cos I couldn't sleep at 2am last night! :P

New York Cheesecake is way too creamy and thick. CALORIES.

And guess what!  The tumbler and the water bottle are on sale now! Grab it as soon as possible guys! 

 I got myself a tumbler and got a free drink.

And also the water bottles!  Got the sales information from my friend who is in Melbourne.

I'm not that into pink but I bought three bottles!  Two are for my younger sisters.  Unfortunately pink is the only colour they have, orelse I can get one for my bro. :(

High Five yea Starbucks freak!

Fyi, the tumbler that I bought is for a SHORT starbucks hot drink only.  It's approximately 230ml.

I used to drink a Grande size but I think I gonna reduce my caffeine intake, after all I drink green tea which contains caffeine every night as well.  Caffeine overdose? Uhhuh not good!

Everyone's gonna be so busy now.  Looking forward to a getaway next week.  God bless.

Never run Yellow/Red Traffic Light

Bonjour! 

I've been so busy this week, busy buying stuffs that I need in Brissie.  N'ah I always do things last minute and these are the bad consequences:  Can't go out with friends for farewell party; Can't sit down and read even a novel;  Can't eat a proper breakfast(Eat Brunch around 2pm--Starving);  Can't have a good sleep(I woke up by my alarm this morning!  WHO SET THE RINGTONE TO ROOSTER ALARM.  which shocked me!);  Can't go to Starbucks and have a nice cup of cappuccino;

This is life.

I drove my aunty to pick my cousin yesterday and I ran YELLOW traffic light.  I was speeding and decided to cross the road but then I changed my mind, so I stepped on the car brake so HARD.  and you know what, the car stopped at the centre of the traffic light for... For like few seconds and I realized that I WAS AT THE CENTRE OF THE CROSSROAD!  My aunty was shouting like mad.  Apparently I did something terrible.  HAHAHAHAHA.  Of course, I drove away from the traffic light, slowed down and LAUGHED.  That's the most xia-soi thing I've ever did.  *I hope my driving teacher didn't see that since the road is one of the compulsory roads to drive when everyone is a learner.

[I tried my best to describe the situation, I texted my friends yesterday after the incident and I just could not describe it properly in words.]

Funny huh?  It's dangerous kay?!  I will never run YELLOW/RED traffic light again.  Lesson learnt.

Oh well here's a bad news for me, perhaps it's a super GOOD news for my parents.  I can only drive in Brissie on 6 January 2014.  Which is two years later!  T_____________T  Heart broken.

I bought two pairs and gonna share with my sister.  I want to put this glasses on when I wear contact lens, because I look kinda weird without glasses!  Fyi, I've been wearing glasses for more than ten years. HAHAA.

Yayyy.  I was so nervous when I received the envelope.  It was huge.  I could feel my heartbeat and my coussie was laughing at me like I was entertaining her.  #Super evil lah kids.  I was told that my results is excellent but I did not believe.  I hold my breath and YAYYYY.  Thanks God!

I asked my sister to cheat my mom and this was the conversation between mom and sister.

Sister:  Heyyy Dajie got her IELTS results and she is crying because she failed the exams.
Mom:  Aduh. Crying again.  She always cries because of her results.  I already get used of this.  Just get her a blanket and ask her to cry under the blanket don't malu me.
Sister:  Wah, why are you so bad?  She said she wants to commit suicide lah.
*My phone rang before their conversation ended.  It was Daddy.  I answered the call and was trying my best to act like I was crying.*
Apparently I failed, let's continue the conversation.
Mom:  WHAT?! commit suicide.  Take care of her lah don't give her chance.  If she really wants to die, let her die.  I also cannot control her mind right.

So, dad was with mom that afternoon and mom was so smart.  She asked dad to call me to make sure that I'm okay.  Well, the conclusion is my mother isn't stupid.

We were bored to the max this morning when dad and mom were chatting at the living room, we locked the bedroom door and....

Apparently all these photos are blur.  Daph used my camera to take the photos and she did not treat my dear gently.  :((((  She wasn't clicking the button, she was BANG-ing on the button.  

Anyhow, Thanks Lord for today! :)  Although there were some unwanted bad memories.  HAHA but it doesn't matter.  Tomorrow--> Shopping time!
