Family dinner(s), free food clipart

Most of the hours have been spent with boxes, unpacking isn't fun aye.

Yes, I'm back in Brisbane, safe and sound! (Although it was quite scary on the plane yesterday, due to the bad weather).  I'm so sick these days but always wanting to get myself some really cold stuffs, with the hope that they can at least relieve my sorethroat. I have difficulties swallowing food now!

Free food clipart. Boo.  Just some dishes that will be served during family dinner.

Stir-fry ManiCai with eggs

Anyways, summer holidays has come to an end(for me).  I couldn't access to Internet 24/7 in SI but my holidays was quite fun though.  I was quite free in the afternoon but started getting busy when it was 3pm.  Time to get ready for dinner!  (Fyi, we usually take our dinner around 5-5.30pm)

Melt-in-mouth Peanut Cookies
Doubled up the main ingredients (peanut) since I found lots of them in the cupboard.
Cashew nuts as decoration (Mom loves cashew nuts but brother doesn't, so they co-operate, you get what I mean?)

Oven-baked Salmon
Mom used to pan-fry the salmon but I don't like it cos it's too oily, so I baked them.
Garlic overload hey. (I don't like chopping garlic)

And yea, I love spending my time in the kitchen, especially after moving to the new house, I simply fall in love with the dearie kitchen!

Well well, mom said oven-baked salmon isn't that nice so I've been forced to pan-fry them again.
Purposely poured 'just a little' oil in the pan, lay the salmon on it, cover on, and after a while there's salmon oil in the pan.

So throwing the salmon oil into the sink is definitely a waste, here comes the Salmon fried rice.
The fragrance of salmon accompanied every single bites of rice.
(Geez, the only reason I will get extra scoop, normally I don't eat rice)

Chicken Curry
Accidentally poured the coconut cream into instead of the coconut juice, so accidents can be good sometimes, that creamy chicken curry which my dad loves so much.
Cooked this for the second time before I left SI but it tasted different cos I used coconut juice.
Complaint received. by, dearie dad.

Sometimes I just shut myself in the kitchen, play the music to the max and ignore all the noise outside the kitchen LOL, of course that's when I want to cook or bake something.

Hot and Spicy Beef Tripe
I don't like cooking this dishes but dad somehow loves this and kind of ordering it every morning.
Don't underestimate it, it's real spicy. (For once I chopped 50 smallchillies in, consequently I ended up coughing non-stop in the kitchen)

Stir-fry corn kernel with pork mince
It's in the kids menu, for the kid at my home.
(Can I call a nine-years-old boy a kid?)

Fried rice with homemade sambal
Homemade sambal was a production of my boredom. My sister and I spent three hours in the kitchen for the making of sambal.  Chopping everything is a nightmare nah.

Stir-fry celery with seafood
This was when there was nothing left in the fridge to go with celery, I picked seafood.
Anyways it goes pretty well with carrot, go all-vegetarian.

Last but not least, a random fact of myself: I can't tell how much I/my family loves lamb.  Didn't shoot the braised lamb into my camera, next time.

I'm getting hungry.
