Sydney Trip Day Three

It's 1am and I just done my shower! And am now patiently refreshing the webpage for the live results. So... let me update you guys with my sydney trip again while waiting.. It was the third day!

Before I start.. LEEHOM concert on the previous night. It was so awesome.
We was too excited and didn't manage to sleep early, consequently we ended up having brunch at The Rag Land cafe @ Waterloo
The owner is a Malaysian!

That's why the cafe has nasi lemak on the special menu..

Harbour Bridge.. was thinking to climb it but the fees are way too expensive!

 Sydney Opera House

Then we took the train to The Rock because we wanna have the pancake over there, but at last we didn't cos it's just similar to the Pancake Manor in Brisbane.

at the train station, heading back to the city.

and we started our shopping at QVB and Myer Centre.
YESH we met Dato' Lee Chong Wei at QVB!
so lucky right

We finished our shopping around 3pm and went to the park to kill our spare time.

I felt like I was in London. AWWW

This man was entertaining those kids!

 Korean BBQ for dinner yayyy.

and visited The Star Casino..

On the way back, the adults was obviously having fun at the playground...

Basically it made our trip even more meaningful after our photo-shooting with LCW!
someone's even trying to search for Leehom.. nahh, that's impossible to meet him.

Sydney Trip Day Two

I've actually finished organising all the photos (YAYY for that) and decided to make a scrapbook about my trip(s), instead of just blog about them. Sydney trip will be the first chapter of my scrapbook and Tasmania will proudly be the second! Can't wait for that.

Okay, so let's start our second day in Sydney!
It was freezing cold that morning, we didn't expect Sydney to be that cold around early April...
Instead of complaining about the chilly weather, getting ourselves some food to boost up our energy would be a wiser choice...

Mother Chu's Taiwanese Gourmet
(More photos about this in the next post teepee)

Maple leaf.

Central Station.
Seriously, I love Sydney's train station, but not the trains...

The escalators in Sydney are scary, seriously..
They are fairly long!

Heading to Bondi Junction!
Both of us were really sleepy that day.

We didn't manage to have our dinner at Hurricane's Grill @Darling Harbour during our first day of the trip.
So we went to the one at Bondi Junction! Heard that it's better than the one in Darling Harbour.
It was a quite heavy lunch tho.. A full rack pork ribs for both of us, served with chips and BBQ sauce.

Yea, we were quite full after the lunch, but we bought this mini custard buns for tea time, just an hour before our dinner.
How can I not gain weight when I'm eating like a pig?

We actually saw some China badminton players along the street and were stupid enough to stand there and wait for Dato Lee Chong Wei/Lee hom.
(okay, impossible)

And FINALLY! The main purpose of our trip!

The first concert that I've attended in my life.

Actually I'm not a big fan of him, but without a doubt, he is so talented!!!!!
and good looking :p

So that's all for our second day!  The concert ended around 11.30pm and we went to Meet Fresh for our supper. Someone eventually fall in love with meet fresh now...

p/s I miss Sydney, A LOT.

Lindt Chocolate Cafe, Darling Harbour, Sydney

It was a chilly night, we were walking along Darling Harbour and decided to pay ourselves some sweet treats after dinner.  Dinner wasn't that heavy and we were not full!

Lindt Chocolate Cafe was busy that night, (oh It's Friday night!).  We waited for a few minutes to get a seat.

We ordered a Hot Dark Chocolate and a Dark Chocolate Molten Lava Cake.  Heard that the waffle there is good, but we wanted to try something special..

Hot Dark Chocolate, well presented in two mugs.  If you know me well, I'm a big fan of dark chocolate! The more bitter the more I love.  The melted dark chocolate is rich, but the milk isn't hot..

The first cup of that mixture turned out the best!  We had three cups of that and I simply changed the portion of hot chocolate and milk...

So I eventually fall in love with this cake; I don't really like cakes since I was young.. but this totally changes my mind!  However, the chocolate filling in the cake wasn't melted completely...

Now I wish Brisbane has one Lindt Chocolate Cafe!

Sydney Trip Day One

Sydney is the first stop of the Australia tour. I must visit all nice places in Australia before I finish my studies and probably before I leave Australia.

It was December last year and we decided to visit Sydney!  I wasn't that excited to go to Sydney few days before the trip because I just came back from Malaysia and I miss Malaysia lots! But nahh, my excitement level simply boosted up without a reason.

We used Tiger Airlines because the tickets were cheap as we bought them during promotion. It was a 1.5 hours flight and we ended up chit-chatting on the flight.. But falling asleep at the last 10 minutes before the flight landed.

Then we took the shuttle bus to our hotel! It was $25 for return ticket, considered cheap because it costs approximately $17.50 one way if we use train.

Great Southern Hotel

After shower, we went for dinner!  Friday night in Sydney is pretty happening.

It's a busy city, the biggest city in Australia I supposed? We walked all the way from our hotel to Darling Harbour.  It took us more than 30 minutes, apparently we were lost because we followed the map which showed the way CARS go.  We nearly walked along the highway.

Finally we arrived at Darling Harbour!  Planned to have the Hurricane's Grill for dinner but we didn't make a reservation so we needed to wait for at least 1.5 hours; we ended up having dinner at Thai Foon, which is a few steps away from Hurricane's Grill.

Thai Foon

Such a beautiful city, how can you not love it?

We had our dessert session! @Lindt Chocolate Cafe
Read the review here!

I'm not a super fan of sweet desserts, so I ordered dark hot chocolate and dark chocolate molten cake.
The dark chocolate molten cake is the first piece of cake which impressed me in my 18 years of life!

After that, we walked to Chinatown for the Mini Egg Custard Bun.

But we bought this at the end!!! The Takos are SERIOUSLY nice. It is available only on Friday night. :(

And heyy, Good night Sydney!
Having fun with the camera and of course, the chit-chat session till late night early morning 3am.

Stay tuned to Our Day Two post!

p/s got really busy about my personal stuff now and please pray for me. Thanksss! Harsh decision to be made, again.
