Two days ago, which was a Sunday morning , I had a brunch date with my sister at Flute Fine Food! I heard that it was busy during weekend, so I called in the early morning and made a reservation at 12.30pm, but apparently I miscounted the time! We arrived there around 11.45am and luckily there were still some seats available.
I simply love the interior design, simple, elegant and classy!
My sister ordered a Thick Chocolate Shake to start with. And I had a creamy latte! I was amazed by the serving size of the thick chocolate shake. Both of us couldn't even finish this 'pot' of milkshake.
Flute Signature Breakfast. Potato Cake, Bacon, Guacamole, poached eggs, served with the white wine sauce! The sauce is really really really awesome! The bacons were a bit overcooked, but my sister thought they were fine. nah maybe it's just that I hate bacon.
And I had the Little Greek Breakfast. Lamb, Haloumi, poached eggs and tortillas. Served with sour cream. I've always wanted to try how haloumi tastes like and finally!!! Cos I can't imagine we can actually deep-fry or grill cheese! The halloumi served at Flute is probably deep-fry one cos it's a bit oily but I love the texture and of course the pure scent of goat milk.
Tortillas made me damn full that morning.. I couldn't only eat two of them.
Our original plan was to have our dessert at Cream Passisterie which is located just beside Flute, but we were too full.. It was my early 19th birthday celebration before my sister heads back to Malaysia! And she owes me a cake. (don't you dare to forget!)
