#1 Working on physics assignment. Research on how do sound waves alter brain waves. Done lots of research and I can't find anything about it. What I got are the info of binaural beats. Dam*.

The Night Before Ekka Holiday

I went to the city with my friend last night.  Our main purpose was to have a ride on the CityCat.  And we did it!
Before that we went to South Bank for sushi.  My Samsung phone was in the state of low battery so I used Vivaz for photo shooting.  Apparently vivaz is better because it is a camera phone with 8.1 megapixel.  Samsung's camera has only 5.0 megapixel.  But me don't likey the photo size and am too noob because I don't know where to change the photo size.  Photos below are edited. I cut it. LOL

 银河pulak.  Where is the earth Where is the Mars Where is the Sun?  haha. Imagination runs wild.  I didn't see anything I've expected. :(  It's at the right hand side of the South Bank bus station.

 I didn't order this.  Obviously, it's because it has rice in it. -.-

 Calamari. My favourite.  I had one. :)

Wui this is nice. Baby octopus in it. XD

There aren't many choices of sushi there.  I will never go there again.  Furthermore, it is expensive.  $$$  

By the way, the sushi train in the city is better.  Hanaichi Sushi Bar.  It's located beside the Noodle Bar, well, I don't know the exact address.  haha.  I should go there with my family next time.  That's the place where my dad discovered! He likes eating so her daughter does.  This is gene.

After dinner we walked to the City.  We walked from Southbank to Cultural Centre and finally reached the city.  We were lost last night.  What a shame.  We were chatting on the way to the city.  The actual route should be Southbank-->Cultural Centre then we can cross the bridge at Cultural Centre and go to the City.  Guess what we did?  We walked past the Cultural Centre, went through the bridge and when we realized that we were lost, we were at the another bridge.  See the photo below.

I took this photo on the CityCat.  We just could not stop laughing.  This bridge is like.... 2-3km away from the bridge we suppose to cross.  So funny la.  Digestion of sushi was almost completed after an hour of walking.  =.=!!!

Finally we found Adelaide Street and 'la la seng' went to Starbucks.

Oh well, I've been updating my Facebook status saying that I'm carving for Starbucks Coffee.  And I had another one last night!  Fully satisfied. :D  I had Cafe Mocha and my friend had Frappuccino Orange Mocha.  I will never get myself Cafe Mocha again, not nice for me.  Coffee should be bitter but not sweet!  

I misspelled Frappuccino.  Aha, sorry.  Cappuccino is still the best!  I'm speechless with the whipped cream on the top of that Frappuccino drink.

After that we went to North Quay for CityCat!  It was the second time I got onto the CityCat.

It was a big day.  I was dead tired and my feet hurts.  I walked with bare feet last night, all the way from North Quay to Cultural Centre. COOL!  People were watching at me.

I get two days off.  I will stay at home for these two days to complete my physics assignment.  I'm doing research on sound waves in brain!

My Physics teacher introduced a website yesterday.  It's cool!  http://prezi.com

Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides. The zoomable canvas makes it fun to explore ideas and the connections between them. The result: visually captivating presentations that lead your audience down a path of discovery.

But too much zoom in makes me pening kepala. aha. Here's the video about the tutorial for beginners.

So I think I gonna use this program to do my Physics presentation!  Me really beh tahan with the powerpoint.

I'm seventeen.  One more year to go for me to reach the legal age.  EIGHTEEN.  But I still have to study.  Study is fun, really.  (You might think I'm telling a lie but it's true).  Study is fun.  Exams is fun.  But the pressure isn't!  DANG.

I have been thinking of my future in these few weeks.  It will be so great if:
I have my own cafe when I'm studying in university.  The money that I earn can be my pocket money or, I can just save them in the bank and wait for the day when I gonna travel around the world. (seems a bit ridiculous, hmm, ok, travel around Asia.)
And I'm still using my parents' money to start my own business. =.=
 

Someday I'm going to be free and I'm going to travel the world. Asia.

Ehem, where is my study mood. On la please. I have heaps of homework waiting for me. "piles" of assignment task sheet. I just handed in my Chemistry ERT and after few minutes(teacher collected all our works), I got another EEI task sheet.  I was like.. wth.

Non-stop assignments.  Week 6 is coming and it will most probably be the most relaxing week.  We have two days off.  Wednesday is the public holiday and Thursday is the Student Free Day for STUDENTS only!  Me planning to go to the Starbucks to have another cup of drink.  A piece of cheesecake, perhaps?
Mom said, "eat eat eat, you wanna gain fat huh?"

See~ My little pony tail. :D My hair is growing.  If it's summer time I will try my best to cut it. LOL, but now it's winter!  I need my hair to keep my head warm.  Talking nonsense.

Coles Strawberries! $5 for 2 boxes.  I should get more.  It's super nice, yet it's cheap.  Those strawberries that I found at Ta Kiong, Miri are like... small, and sour. -.-

星巴克 Starbucks

注意：这篇的确就是关于星期三city游记. =.= 我知道我懒， 我忙啊！term three不是开玩笑的。

星巴克给人的感觉很温暖，尽管这温暖也挺不便宜的。
那一天经过Brisbane City另一栋大楼的星巴克，“呃？原来city有两家星巴克。”
人潮不算多，每个人都很悠闲地坐在落地窗旁聊天、上网...
呵呵.
"Could I have a cappuccino please.  Thank you.  Oh, grande thanks."
脱口而出的cappuccino. 每一次到星巴克（美里）都点caramel macchiato.  那一天来点不一样的。

朋友点的white chocolate mocha with whipped cream. 还加了两包糖. 

朋友说中国的星巴克很有家的味道。

哈，在美里我并没有这种感觉，有些失落。

却在这里的星巴克找到这个感觉。第一次和星巴克咖啡是和妈妈一起喝的呢。

是生病伤风的时候妈妈特地买的，买的是caramel macchiato venti.  说热热的暖胃。超大杯的。

她还说：“没事儿，我们一块儿喝。我不怕你的病菌的。”

大妹在我离开前送给我的亲笔画，我还特地让她在画后面签名，到时成名了至少我还有一个签名画。
是对着漫画描绘的；漫画是弟弟的。
弟弟视他的漫画为宝贝，原本不愿意借给大妹让他画。
结果二妹哄哄再陪他玩玩弟弟就直接把书摆在桌上。

其实这幅画弟弟很喜欢哦；我们还曾经为了它吵起来. -.-
一个16岁的姐姐和6岁的弟弟吵架，可笑不？
哎呀，我们这一家就是不打打闹闹不自在。离谱的是有时老爸也会幼稚的。

感觉下星期公共假期应该搭个巴士到city，喝星巴克去！

Wednesday.

AHA. I didn't go to school today. I don't know why, just felt like want to stay at home. I did nothing, except browsing the internet: Not many people are on facebook, so I viewed my friends' blog. Their older posts!  I'm a stalker, beware of me. haha.

Then I wasted four hours on Internet.  Procrastinating!  So I started my revision, Maths C.  Permutations and combinations is seriously super duper siao. I can't understand pun! T_T Especially when the questions come to those related to cards. Oh please! I only know how to play "Twenty-one points" la. (Translate to Chinese Thanks. Direct Translation will be good. aha)

Because I couldn't understand those concepts, I decided to do my Macbeth monologue first. I lied on my bed, reading the original book. Slowly.... I fell asleep. *It's normal for me. Lol. I knew it's five minutes later my housemate got back from school and knocked on my door.  She invited me to go to the city with her for her university stuffs. yep, I went to the city and the state library! See how hardworking I WAS.

I'll post about it tomorrow. Hopefully I can. haha.

Biology Lesson: Heart Dissection

Heyy! This is the second post for the day. Actually I'm planning to do this tomorrow morning because I want to get enough sleep. It is 9.30pm now and I decided to sleep until 4am tomorrow morning. (Noted that I went to bed at 4.30pm) -.- and silly me set the alarm clock at 8.45pm, it woke my homestay parents up but not me! And I think they were angry. Nawww, sorry!

Yep, biology class was interesting. We only had the remaining 40 minutes to do the heart dissection as the parade and year level meeting consumed thirty minutes. We tried to ask for permission for photo-shooting but teacher said NO. However, we secretly took a few photos using my phone. (hey I purposely brought my phone to school for the heart dissection thingy!)

It is muscular. The bottom part of the heart is hard! ya it's for pumping the blood. Same as human heart, but this one is slightly bigger. I heard that the size of our heart is exactly the size of our fist. ayee my heart isn't that big! The machine that is working every second.

It's fun. haha. Someone will say: bian tai!

不知道...如果人整夜不睡的话会怎么样。今天我领教了。

我发誓我今天下午一回到家肯定睡到明天天亮。

Week 4

It had been a busy week for me.  I stayed up late two days and went to bed at 4am.  Hmm, at least I slept for few hours.  Three hours.  If I am in Malaysia, I need to wake up at 5.30am, that means I only have one and a half hour sleeping time.  LOL.  Torturing myself huh?  And then when I got home last Tuesday, (handed in my assignment draft, DRAFT, it's only a DRAFT!!!! T_T), I went to bed at 5.30pm and woke up at 6am.  Cool, isn't it? I thought I'll wake up at 9 but I didn't.  And I forgot to set up my alarm too. hha...

HAHAHA. I'm bored sometimes. I think I should wear braces for my teeth. Heard that it's painful. UHH.

I went to UQ yesterday for the IELTS thing.  It's really big.  I found pharmacy and banks in the campus. -.- I was like... HUHHH?! I define it as a small city. hahaha. I'm going to the open day tomorrow. aha!

Week 5 is coming, that means we have gone half way through term 3.  Ngaidi, too fast.  But I can't wait for the moment I meet my family.  Homesick, yeh, homesick.  People in Miri will start their trial exams next week and I will start my exams too! D: I got 3A 3B for the first two terms. And I'll aim for all A this term! Good Luck. LOL Although I know it's somehow quite impossible, but at least I'm willing to have a try.

Talking about the English assignment, we are currently studying the Shakespeare's work, Macbeth.  There will be a spoken test, monologue in Week 7.  Which means DRAMA, which means I need to act! :X  God Bless Me.

凌晨3点钟我还没睡呢；再过三个小时就要梳洗准备去学校。好歹也睡个觉吧~
好烦好烦好烦的事儿，害得我明天不能午睡要到UQ大学去。算了，这是自己的未来，本来就该自己去好好“劳苦”一下。

Viewing back at my text messages.  I must have something right, to deserve you in my life.
We can't get rid of those misunderstandings.  We quarrel; We cry and we forgive.  We appreciate friendship that's why we were being so sensitive.  Friendship is just a word, but we give it a meaning.
That others will never know. :)

People always blame on others.  Instead of admitting our own mistakes, sometimes, we try so hard to find excuses to escape.  I found arguments about global warming, people blame on the Sun or the cloud, but never themselves.  What's wrong with the Sun or the cloud?  Perhaps, they contribute to the greenhouse effect, but people, see what are the human activities which are still going on every second everyday.

2012, it's next year.  Believe it or not, enjoy our life but do care about the Earth.  There's no use crying over spilt milk when the day comes.

Felt so guilty for what I've done, buses produce greenhouse gases as well but i'm still using it.
