Heyyy. How are you today? I spent the whole day staying at home giving my assignment kisses and huggies. Then I suddenly realized, OMG I had maths B lesson. I missed the subtopic of Probability. Someone please teach me that chapter. I thought I will never study this topic again after Term Three(in Maths C), but who knows?! It appears in my Maths B textbook. I was like... T__T when teacher was teaching.
Anyway, gonna deal with it.
Wendy's friends paid a visit yesterday. They are Jeff and Carol. Just in case you don't know, Wendy is my guardian's name; Roly is her husband.
So, Deb(Wendy's daughter) joined us and we went to Mount Gravatt Hotel for dinner. It is just a 5 minutes walk away from my house, so we walked there. It was hot in the evening but after sunset, it was terribly cold last night. Plus, I wore short sleeves Diesellie Blue(it is the shirt's name, I named it because I love it too much. Bought it from Parkson, Bintang Megamall, Miri when it was on sale! Diesel on sale!) and a pair of shorts. Too cold too cold during spring time.
Caroline and I went to the pub and ordered this. (Again, just in case you don't know Caroline is my housemate, a girl from China) Lemon Lime Bitters. Nice cocktail I can tell. I'm not sure whether it contains alcohol or not. I think it has no alcohol, otherwise Wendy will not allow me to drink. I'm still a young teenager in the age of 17! XD #haolian-ness
Look, there are three layers, which are made up of lime cordial, lemonade and bitters. Don't mix them together when you're drinking it so that you can taste three different flavours. This suddenly reminds me of the three layers milk tea/teh-ci-pang in Malaysia. A sudden crave of it!
*Maybe I should really go for dental surgery to get my
missing tooth back.
And my fringe has grown longer. I'm not going to cut my fringe any more, gonna clip them up for the whole summer time next year. Terrible experience for Summer 2010. Hot! However,
I wanna cut my hair short again, back to the hairstyle when I was in Form Three and Four. What do you reckon? hehehe.
Chatting, playing games on the phone, giggling, looking around the restaurant, yawning and starving.
After half an hour we placed our orders, we finally got our food. Wendy and Carol had Crispy Citrus Duck, Jeff and I had rump steak and Caroline had her chicken parmigiana. Deb had something that looked like beef, ah I can't remember.
Chicken Parmigiana.
See the thick cheese on the piece of chicken. There are three layers, the bottom part-fried chicken; middle part is the parmigiana sauce and the top part, obviously it is cheese. Not too bad.
And chips. *shakes head. Why all dishes must have chips served with them?
My medium cooked rump steak. It was actually served with chips but I requested them not to serve me chips. So I only had salad. I ended up eating the steak and the cucumbers tomatoes on the top of the salad. Why? It was because the salad leaves were oily. T_T No dressings for salad please, it just tasted weird with OIL.
Apparently I gained a lot of protein last night. Green peppercorn gravy on the top was nice too!
But the steak in Jojo's Restaurant, Brisbane City is nicer. Jojo's Restaurant is my dad's favourite restaurant. And he loves steak as well. He rang me this afternoon and he was jealous when I told him I had steak last night.
Bytheway, I had diarrhoea this morning. Something must be wrong. I hope not.
Tahaaaa. Last but not least, Thanks Wendy!
p/s Never miss the TVB drama
Forensic Heroes III. Gonna post about it soon. My favourite drama series. I hope it will go on. Four.... Five.. Six... on and on.
