Wellington Point 04112011

This was the last outing I had with my homestay family who has been taking care of me for the whole year.  Frankly, I do not like to live with someone that I don't know, but I have to say, they are really nice, in someway, (when they don't force me to eat something)   Last Sunday, we went to Wellington Point.

For the very first time, Roly was driving!  I was so excited and captured this memorable moment. Haha.

It was about an hour drive to East Brisbane.  It was so hot that afternoon so my housemate and I wore shorts+short sleeves Tee.  But then when we got there, ohmygod, we realized the power of seabreeze.

Shivering during spring-summer time.

Without a doubt it is a nice place to release stress. EXAMS.

And.... I just couldn't stop taking photos, gotta improve my photography skills anyway.
For some reasons, I like this picture, but I think it can be better if captured from the another view, or zoom-in?

Jeff and Carol met us at the jetty!  I met them twice in a week, love them so much.

So sweet.  It should happen on me ten years later, i hope. haha.

They were enjoying the sea breeze.  My housemate and I walked around the jetty and took some photos.

And she bought herself an mango icecream, eating icecream during such a cold day.

By the time when full moon appears on the sky, I'll be on the plane!  See ya everyone. :D

After an hour, we went to Hogan's Bar for dinner.

I wanna order traditional ceasar salad but ended up with another dishes.  :(  I'm so in love with ceasar salad, no why.

Spot my name spot my name please. XD Claire without the "I".  There is a story behind my name, a long yet funny story.  Perhaps I should share it. Lol, but not now.

So I ended up eating "surf and turf", an ENORMOUS steak with three prawns on it.  It's really big, I can cook a dish for my whole family with only one piece of beef of that size, I guess.

This was what my housemate ate for dinner, I was so impressed that she finished eating all of them, except one calamari that ended up in my stomach. :p

I wish I can walk on the beach but sadly I did not have the chance to do so that day.  No worries, I will make it true next time. :D After all I gonna spend more than 4 years here.  Travel, eat and play.  Enjoy your life!

Ciao~  Good luck to all SPM-ers, your big day is just the day after tomorrow.  Go for it.  Chiong ah. Everyone's busy bia-ing their sejarah when i called them.  Anyhow, jiayou jiayou and jiayou.

And jiayou for myself too!

:D
