Sunrise @Wellington Point
Finally we made a trip to Wellington Point to watch sunrise! Sun rises pretty early during winter, that means we all need to wake up early, like REAL early during winter time (you know it's hard, cos bed is the warmest). Thank God we made it! Getting out of bed around 4.45am, and driving all the way from Robertson to Wellington Point.
It was freaking cold out there, seabreeze's chilling. Four of us wore slippers: cold toes and the numbness. But everything's worth it when we saw the sunrise.
Behind us, there was a full moon.
Okay, nevermind if you can't see the faces. Focus on the background. :p
This somehow looks like sunset!
We left Wellington Point around 7am and started our Food Hunting Trip! I will update about it after my Tasmania trip, gotta do my packing first!
Ciao~

Flute Fine Food @Coorparoo
Two days ago, which was a Sunday morning , I had a brunch date with my sister at Flute Fine Food! I heard that it was busy during weekend, so I called in the early morning and made a reservation at 12.30pm, but apparently I miscounted the time! We arrived there around 11.45am and luckily there were still some seats available.
I simply love the interior design, simple, elegant and classy!
My sister ordered a Thick Chocolate Shake to start with. And I had a creamy latte! I was amazed by the serving size of the thick chocolate shake. Both of us couldn't even finish this 'pot' of milkshake.
Flute Signature Breakfast. Potato Cake, Bacon, Guacamole, poached eggs, served with the white wine sauce! The sauce is really really really awesome! The bacons were a bit overcooked, but my sister thought they were fine. nah maybe it's just that I hate bacon.
And I had the Little Greek Breakfast. Lamb, Haloumi, poached eggs and tortillas. Served with sour cream. I've always wanted to try how haloumi tastes like and finally!!! Cos I can't imagine we can actually deep-fry or grill cheese! The halloumi served at Flute is probably deep-fry one cos it's a bit oily but I love the texture and of course the pure scent of goat milk.
Tortillas made me damn full that morning.. I couldn't only eat two of them.
Our original plan was to have our dessert at Cream Passisterie which is located just beside Flute, but we were too full.. It was my early 19th birthday celebration before my sister heads back to Malaysia! And she owes me a cake. (don't you dare to forget!)

Not Happy = Sad?
Here we officially welcome winter 2013. The lowest temperature that I have experienced throughout the week was 8 degree celsius. That gloomy weather is not interesting, never ever.
Sifting through my memory for a vague collection of the happiness, excitement and of course, anxiety, there is no way to get back to the past. There is the before. and then there is the after! There will be the people that I have never met; there will be the things that I have never tried and know. There will be the things I will carry with me as I go.. So what is the point of getting annoyed and disappointed?
It is damn easy to tell someone else 'Happiness is what you choose' but when it comes to myself, I stay silence. We can eventually settle into a quiet pattern together.. Not that I'm not happy now, hey at least I am not sad. Not happy = sad? I doubt that.
HAHA
Whatever lah, decision has been made. what done is done and I believe it is right at the time I did it: I have no time to change my mind later just because I begin to think or feel I might have made a mistake.
"I like you for you always being so sensitive, you are sensitive on others' feelings. I wonder how you get to know their feelings."
hahaha, I'm not Edward the vampire I can't read mind; perhaps it isn't that good to be way too sensitive.
You know, things always get worst when it reaches the best.
nah what crap am I talking about.
God is Good. He tells me what to do.
Thank you Lord for giving me the courage to make the decision.
and now at least I can smile, ignoring the disappointment that flares like a rocket grenade.
bahaha.

Forget about it
Forget about it, even if it is tough. But nothing is tougher than recalling the bits and pieces.
Hey girl, you always know the one that you want. don't you?

Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant
Too much good food within a week, plus the gym procrastination = G.U.I.L.T
I'm quite sick of eating out now, but I guess I will soon recover my interest on food! LOL
Last Friday I was supervising my sister on her revision. So when she was doing her revision and working hard, I was lying on her bed watching dramas+taking short nap. After that, we went for dinner together! It has become our once-a-fornight-date.
Dinner @Kotobuki, Kangaroo Point!
When i told my sister about the location of this restaurant, she was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS you gonna drive there? I rather eat at Sunnybank than risking my own life".
Okay, trust me sis! Forget about my misinterpretation(s) on GPS guiding system: we missed a few junctions and spent a ten minutes more to get to the place.
Whatever la, we were safe.
Fried Tofu as appetiser, I don't like the texture of the tofu, so my sister finished the whole bowl. yea she loves tofu.
Oh yes, Takoyaki.
Eating takoyaki is a must when you are in a Japanese Restaurant!
Spider Roll. Somehow there was a hint of curry flavour in this spider roll, perhaps it's my problem. Blame my taste buds?
Tempura udon. I don't really eat noodles and this was my first time eating udon! Not bad for my first time, but according to my sister, there are some nicer one somewhere out there.

Reviews on 2013 New Year's Resolution & who's ready for 2013 SEM2 resolutions.
Hi, I'm doing this because I want to keep myself awake. I drank a cup of coffee but somehow caffeine doesn't work on me anymore, unfortunately. Nowadays I can even go to bed around 10.30pm! Okay I should be thankful, because this leads to a healthier life, as I wake up automatically around 6am. then I can eventually spend hours in bed texting, stalking ppl on instagram etc etc.. until my stomach tells me: it's time to feed me heyy.
Nah, just a random mumble. Actually I'm gonna write a review on myself, regarding my 2013 new year's resolution. (I found my 2013 diary on the shelves and apparently I didn't touch it for ages! I flipped it to the first page and laughed out loud at my 2013 new year's resolutions.) Okay, I've actually failed most of them.
1. First year of civil engineering-no more slacking no more procrastination!
Sounds so enthusiastic, but there's no even a chance for me to slack. because I quit after 4 months! The funniest joke that ever happened in my life so far. So much struggles and finally came to that decision. Just gotta bear with all the circumstances. Still, thank God it's almost over, soon...
FYI, I'm doing Food Technology.
2. Sleep early & Wake up early-Live a healthy life
Okay, I should say that I did achieve this since last week, but not for the weeks/months before. 24 hours won't be enough for a student, bahaha.
3. EXERCISE
Yes I do, although I slack sometimes. Recently we've found that a midnight jog makes us feel better; jogging and enjoying the silence.
4. Get a part time job
Oh yea, I got one, but stopped working once the student visa was cancelled. And can only get back to work next semester. That's why I get bored always.
5. Sydney Trip - LEEHOM
HAHAHA, laughing at this, I don't know how can this be the new year's resolution. Crap lah. However, Leehom is handsome, there is no doubt!!!! and he is so talented heyyy.
I jotted down five new year's resolutions on the first day of 2013. Then I've actually found some others new year's resolutions in my previous post.
6. Spend as much time as I can with my family, love them and care them!

No matter what family is always the best. Feel it.
7. Work harder in university!
no comment. if you really want one, scroll up, refer to #1.
8. Keep friendship on sail always, especially those in Malaysia
uhhuh, still working hard on this, but everyone's real busy with studies! A meet-up in April really made me loving them more. Anyways, am too blessed cos I have awesome friends in brissie too!
9. Stay happy no matter what happen, have faith in God
The maintenance fees for happiness are high beyond my ability. still trying hard to achieve the real 'happy-go-lucky' mode. So I guess this is the homework for everyone's life. and yes this should be in our new year's resolution EVERY YEAR!
And actually a few months ago, I added one to my new year's resolutions list: no more deep fried food! Apparently this has become the major failure and am actually gonna make it true for my 2013 SEM TWO resolutions. bahahaha.
yes i can do it.
we'll see.

Insta-talk #5
It's just like twinkling of an eye, that's it, May, see you next year.
Hmph, it's quite a peaceful month for me, peace in mind and in life. Say peace yayy. Without a doubt there were some ups and downs throughout the whole month, but they didn't last long. My happy-go-lucky style has back I reckon, oh, welcome back! :D So.. yeah, a pretty nice good wonderful fabulous month: also a/some little life changes that happened, hopefully everything goes well! #praying hard.
I think my 2013 May was pretty much about FOOD, trust me, scroll down, most of my insta updates are about food.
I love Vietnamese Salad, so I homemade one, with loads of coriander and peanuts. boo.
I had this for brunch and dinner on a random day! Thanks to Vivian.
Then, we were crazy enough to wake up real early for this, the asians breakfast!
All the way from Indooroopilly to Sunnybank at 7am.
OHHH! Tony Stark is awesome. Iron Man 3 is so far the best movie in 2013.
When there's some life changes going on, change your iphone wallpaper as well.
Just live <3 p="">

So tell me, how can I not gain weight after eating so much good food? LOL okay, I know, overloaded. Binge eating for the whole month. Should really get back to healthy eating lifestyle for my own sake.
Anyway, all the best to all students who are going to sit for their exams SOON! Jiayouuu, have faith in Jesus Christ and everything will be fine. :)
Also, enjoying food as always! I'm not a big fan of Japanese sushi, but I just can't say NO to sashimi.
Dinner @Oishii Sushi Bar
And the sweetest dessert to end the awesome night. @Casamia Paris
The next day I had a late night jog along Musgrave Road; It was chilly, everyone (hmm Malaysians) was nervous. Internet seemed to be real busy that night, we were all refreshing the pages.
But somehow the results disappointed most of us. :(
Some curry puffs? the gigantic puffs lol.
Japanese Dinner again @Mizu Japanese Restaurant.
Then, I got back to SI! Home Sweet Home.
Kitchen means food. Food means eat. blahh.
That late night baking with siblings, they said the frosting looked like pops. but nah sui bian lah, I removed all the frosting before eating, so it doesn't matter.
oh this little kid crawled into my bed on a random night. He slept in my room for two days and after that two days I was sick because of the strong air conditioning. I couldn't sleep with air conditioning on and he couldn't sleep without it on, so, please love me more la bro!!
Another kid sneaked into my room again. Having fun kacau-ing the brother who slept earlier.
I'm naughty huh.
They went to school during daytime so I was damn boring, time to read some books.

Vintage Kitchen Vintage Closet
Hi guys!!! I'm back in Brisbane and still trying my best to cope with this weather. You know, there is a distinct difference between Solomon's and Brisbane's weather. Have not been sleeping well since the day I get back here! So, it was yesterday, the cloudy and windy Saturday morning, we randomly came out with an idea: brunch! @Vintage Kitchen Vintage Closet
It is located at Cooparoo, and quite easy to find a parking slot: the easiest is to park in the neighbourhood, which is just behind the cafe. So we didn't spend much time finding a parking slot.
Simple, everything's clear.
We ordered a chocolate milkshake and cappuccino for drinks, upgraded the cappuccino to a mug size. and the milkshake to large! I don't really like the milkshake tho, it's too sweet for me. But cappuccino is creamy and the foam is thick!
Big Breakfast. The portion is big, especially the bacons. This is definitely a good one for bacons-lover!
The sourdough was a bit hard, which eventually disappointed me, or perhaps I put high expectation on it. Oh, I've never fallen in love with breads anyway.
Falafel Vegetarian Salad (Falafel, baby spinach, cucumber, cheese & hummus)
Okay, with smoked salmon as add on, so it can't be vegetarian anymore. bah.
I simply love the yoghurt dressing and also the cheese (sorry can't remember the name of the cheese, but i'm pretty sure it's mentioned on the menu) The texture of falafels is unexpectedly good!
too eager to eat them. heh.
So this sums up our Saturday's morning!
Oh, not to forget about the vintage closet in the cafe. Do a simple shopping at those second hand stuffs!
